RaggAhmed provides professional development in written and oral communications to help health professionals, scientists and academics communicate effectively with their colleagues and the public. 

We work with our clients and their team members to understand their learning needs and then tailor our in house communication workshops to meet these needs.

Welcome Kathy Flitcroft, Anna Jones and Laal Farrokhzadi

 

Kathy Flitcroft and Anna Jones have joined RaggAhmed as project managers.

 

Having graduated as a registered nurse, Kathy holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences and an MA in Government. Kathy recently completed a PhD on the use of evidence in bowel cancer screening policy. She has worked extensively in the university sector and brings strong experience in qualitative research methods and evidence translation. Kathy has a keen interest in making health policy as evidence-informed as possible.

 

Anna originally trained in speech pathology and has worked in hospital and community settings in Australia and the UK. She has a Master of Public Health from UNSW, and more recently coordinated research projects investigating communication within medical consultations and quality of life issues in cancer care. With a passion for social equity and consumer engagement, Anna brings strong project management experience and a clear commitment to client service.

 

Laal Farrokhzadi is our research officer. Laal holds a degree in nutrition science from California Polytechnic State University and is currently completing her PhD on the effect of nutrition and lifestyle of women with gynaecological cancer during their cancer care journey. Laal is passionate about the importance of nutrition education and she brings strong analytical skills to all her work.
